She stayed in great lakes for A school, then arrived in San Antonio I think about Aug. 8th. That's where things really went down hill for her. Guess her A school was longer than your sons.... She did pretty good there, but not having the same experience now.... At this point I honestly don't know what is going to happen with her. We have let her know how we feel about the situation, and now I have decided to just keep my mouth shut. I talked to her for about 2 1/2 hours the other night while I was driving to Atlanta and she was driving to my sisters in Dallas and I never said a word about her situation. I am hoping she will work things out and stick with it, but right now...only time will tell! I really thought things would be so much easier for them once they made it through bootcamp....guess I was wrong :-(
Do you know how long your son will be gone?? I can't remember the "rules" for on here so if I am asking the wrong questions just send me private message!

yes, it the same son that graduated with your daughter..........His C school was about 2 mos....not near as long as some. It's amazing how fast things are moving.

His duty assignment is in Whidbey Island, WA but deployeed to Japan within 2 1/2 mos of arriving to WA. .

Is your daughter in San Antonio? I couldn't remember where she was going to school.

Proudmom: thanks so much.... I will be praying for autumn & you. I knew there would be challenged ahead but it still doesn't make it easier

Wow...that was a quick c school if it is your son that graduated with her! Hers was to last a year.....she has been released from that class , or is in the process of being released....can't believe your son has been deployed to Japan. I will pray thar all goes well and that he finds the needed strength to make it through each day. ( and you, too!). I don't know what is going to happen with autumn....just keep her in your prayers!

Proudmom: I'm sorry to hear you sailor's having a hard time.  My son finished his c-school almost 3 weeks ago & within 3 days of that was deployed to Japan.  He is still trying to adjust & getting to know is squad.  It feels alot like bootcamp again & I can tell he is struggling to get through the days.

Doesn't sound like fun clays girl! You be careful and stay safe!
Well....my little sailor is not doing too well....she has been sick pretty much since she went to boot camp....now she is getting depressed and not doing well in her c school. Come to find out she never should have been able to go to this c school, should have had to sign a waiver which she never did. she failed her last two tests....not sure what is going to happen now.
I hope everyone else is doing better than her !!
