Hi danagagirl...I thought about you yesterday and knew exactly what you are feeling as do the rest of the moms here.  I always stick to the no news is good news too.  Although it does your heart good when you finally do hear :-)   When Josh flew home the first time, american airlines allowed family to go right to the boardging gate and wait with them.  But the last time, even though he bought american air tickets it was operated by japan airlines and they would not allow that.  I burst into TEARS!!!  Let us know when he arrives!

Take care,

Cathy

well.. it was a sad day yesterday. Hopefully by now my son has arrived, haven't heard anything yet, but I'm going to stick with the no news is good news! I was able to go sit with him at the airport. Luckily the lady was sympathetic that I wouldn't see my 'baby' for almost 3 years.. :)   Have a wonderful week everyone.

Good Morning everyone.. it was a wonderful weekend. Daughter got in Friday, my son was here and we were hoping sub son would get home too. We were headed to the mall around 4 on Friday and my phone ring, sub son says, we're back can you come get me! Got to have them all home it was great and I enjoyed every minute since this may not happen again for a long time. Will be taking my son back to Pensacola Saturday to catch his flight to go to Sasebo... Going to be a rough day, but I appreciate everyone's support ahead of time :)

Stacy's Mom, Hi there, nice to meet you!  I wonder why they would send just the guys?  Five kids in the military / college? Wow! You must be very proud!

My daughter Stacy, is still in Sasebo, waiting (anxiously) to get to the ship I guess they sent the guys and the girls are still waiting...glad to hear all of you moms that get to spend time with your children, I know my heart swells when all are home at the same time. I have five and with two in the military and three in college it's not often. Before Stacy left, her brother had one night between summer school and Matinee Recon training in Hawaii...so all were together for eight hours...yay! It'll be awhile before that happens again...sniff sniff...

Mary - I know you are loving all of those pics!  Disneyworld!  That's exciting!  Have FUN!!!!

Thanks, Sharon, for Amazon info.  I need to check it out.

Take care all!

Sharon, thank you for the info on Amazon, I use that site quite a bit, and pick gift cards for Amazon with my bank points. Prime sounds really good! I have a 'plain ol" kindle too so I will look into it! I sent Jesse a collapse type lawn chair thru amazon for his shop with free shipping, it was great to be able to send something that with free shipping. My "camera hog" made it on the BHR FB page again. Maybe one of these days I'll actually get to see his "real" face instead of "welding" face, LOL!! (the past couple have been welding mask pics) Have a great day! (C'mon weekend!, and C'mon 9/16 - goin to disneyworld!)
