Hello to my soon-to-be N4M family!  My son will be joining your sailors early next year.

Some time soon I'm going to ask someone to PM me for details on what I can expect from this ship.  He's currently on the Essex in Japan so I know it will be a big change.

Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!!

Kerin- yes your son has to be the one to add you to ombudsman for their per-cautions and safety reasons ;) just went through it myself

Kerin, I believe you will need to email your son and ask him to contact the ombudsman and give her permission to send you the ship's info and pics of the day, etc or ask your son for that info. This is my son's 1st deployment also and I'm still learning a ton but the info passed down from the ship as well as this site has been very helpful! My son is coming home with the earlybirds...anyone else out there in the same "boat"?

Kerin- Email the ombudsman and let her know who u have aboard the ship and tell her you are wanting information on arrival date. etc.

Homecoming seems so long as we approach Christmas without our husbands, sons, daughters and friends but knowing that they are indeed coming home makes the wait bearable.  As I live in the west how do I find out an anticipated arrival date?  Is there a contact number or link I can access?

Hi everyone!  This is my son's first deployment and it has seemed like FOREVER -- especially since I have had his "Welcome Home" banner since June!  LOL!!!   Can't wait to wrap my arms around my son and welcome home all our guys.  Happy holidays to everyone and I hope to see many of you at homecoming!

Hi I am Robin.  My son is aboard the Ramage.  Can't wait to see him in Norfolk.  His fiancee, me and my mom will be there, so I am sure I will be seeing many of you then.  Hang in there girls.  It is almost time to see our guys.
