FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

what A weekend!

Hello everyone! Well the weekend is over and a hard time saying good bye AGAIN! But not as hard as the first. you are proud (So Proud) are now you want to see them go even farther.when our son told us he made E3 we were so proud of him, and now can't wait till he is 6 month in to A school he can test for chief petty officer 3rd class before he is out of A school. Well words can't express the feeling. Pride,excitement jitters and tears all wrapped up into one.Ian I'm so proud of you. You have made me so Proud and becoming a E3 before you graduate has made me even prouder. You sure have become a great man over these past few weeks. Well we parents of a new sailor have 4 days till graduation. I'm waiting for my I'm a sailor phone call and am ready to burst. The fear of something going wrong and the excited of his passing are racing threw my bones. As moms we tend to go over the edge sometimes , but i'm so far over i feel like it's a nightmare. I wish I would wake up. i'm so proud of him as all the other moms are also of there new sailor i can't wait to just thank him for what he is doing. We are a select few also not just… Continue

Boy I'm getting very excited 11 days and counting. Can't wait to see him and hear all the stories it will be a grand time. Very excited about the two new friends I met on NFM'S they have been a joy to talk to over these last few weeks . We are all missing our son's bad. Glad we can be here for each other. If you don't have a countdown clock check one out there are fun to have.See you all in two weeks a proud day PIR April 30th 2010.

Hi Murphy, I hope you get the "I'm a sailor call". Call in sick to work. Lol! I think I was more excited then Chrissy was when she called me. She was so exchausted after Battlestations. Thanks for adding me as your friend. I've done the same as well. While Brian is still a few months out before bootcamp I can tell you the prayers for him have been lifted up in vast numbers. I feel as though the more I can surround him in prayer, the better he'll be :) Many blessings to you and your family!
