Welcome candirad! My son is also ATI, it's been almost 2 years since he graduated A school but he was in P'cola 6 months. I think 6 months is a good time line but a lot depends on how long they wait to class up. It's the Navy "hurry up & wait". Mine then spent another 4 months at C school. Best of luck to your son.

Andrewsmom - Congrats to your son on his graduation!!!! Enjoy this time having him home. Get lots of hugs. Hope he likes his ship and enjoys his job.

Happy Easter everyone! Hope you all have a joyous and blessed day!!!!

My son just graduated from AT-I A-school on March 28th.  He arrived P'Cola on 9/15/13, so he was there a little over 6 months.  Although he was told he'd have a 2 month wait for first class to start, it was only about 2 to 3 weeks.  He also had about one week wait to start 2nd set of classes.  They also had a 2 week shutdown over Christmas holiday.  He's actually home now and reporting to his ship in San Diego on Monday.  My son liked P'Cola and made some great friends.  I wish your son great success.

My son is enroute today to Pensacola to start his A-School for AT.  Does anyone know how long for AT-I?

So did she get flown out to the ship last fall or will this upcoming deployment be her first?
