Hello! Not sure if there are still any active members in this group but thought I would give it a shot. Our son will be leaving for BC on July 7th but FIRST we need to get through his hs graduation which is in 6 weeks! This will be our first child leaving and perhaps not the last. HIs brother is a jr in high school and considering a military career as well.

Looking forward to connecting to other Moms with sons/daughters and other family members from BUCKEYE LAND.

So sorry for your loss. My heart just breaks for our sailors because they have to deal with these things by themselves.

Dear Ohio families I am asking if you will keep my son and family in your thoughts and prayers. We just lost my dad his papa very suddenly on monday. He is not able to get home until next week. The last any of us could hear he did not take it so well and I am worried for him.

How many of you will be attending Sarge's meet and greet 12/30/14 for the 12/31/14 PIR. I think it would be great if we could sit together or get together to brainsorm on a basket centerpiece. what does everyone think

Chissybear I sent you a message.  Would love to get the facebook info you mentioned.  Thank you so much for your offer of support.  Up to this point everything has been focused on getting to boot camp and saying good bye.  Now I need to start learning what's after his PIR.  His rating (if it's called that) is AV
