Good Morning to Everyone.
Still raining! the Wind will be coming later today too and Thunder. YEA!!!!. Off to work early today. Got to get off on time today, babysitting every Thursday for my daughter. She go to school after I get off of work.
So excited my daughter graduates A school tomorrow!@!! She will be on hold in Fort Lee for about a month before heading to combat school in Norfolk. So proud of her!!!
Gee, sorry for all you ladies getting lots of rain. We had three days of solid rain but luckily the last few days have been dry but cloudy. Yep, winter is right around the corner. Hubby and I are doing preparations so we'll be ready for the cold. Heated water hose, tires up on wood and getting some insulation panels to skirt important parts of the trailer. Hubby got all the insulation under the belly done so we're about as ready as we can get.
Jean,
Sorry your girl missed the first test but I'm sure she'll get it the next time!!!!! We'll both have girls in aviation (if the Navy medical lets Jenn stay!!!) Keep us posted on how she's doing!!!!
Mari,
Sent you a personal welcome message!! So glad to see you here. You should get your form letter soon with her address but if you're unlucky like I was, I never got one from my daughter!!! You could call her recruiter tho and he/she should be able to get your daughter's address. Only the recruiter that processed her all the way to GL will have access to what ship/div she was assigned to and then get the address from the RTC website. These first few weeks are so hard on us moms because of the lack of communication. Remember - we're here for you!! Hugs {{{ . .}}}
Good Morning to Everyone.
The rain has not let up here either.It looks like for the next 2 weeks we get a lot of rain. There is even a wind advisory for us for the next few days at least until Monday. I like the wind so that can stay but this rain is bad. I know I wouldn't like FL. I have live here in Washington all my life but Warm would be nice for a while. Not to warm though. That is why I will be staying right here and go visit my daughter.
She took her test on Friday. She missed it by 1 point. She has 2 more tries. She loved the simulation part of the test. She said it made her feel like she was really flying.
Anna and Blondie thank you for your kind words.... I just wish she could go home for a bit but guess that will have to wait. At least combat school is in Norfolk near me so she will be close for a bit.
It's raining like crazy here in Virginia so I hope you all have a great day I feel like a duck!
JappyJ,
Sounds exciting for her!!! Is she still set for the new ship or is there a chance that will change? I hope she doesn't mind being on hold and also hope it doesn't last too long!!!
Catsmom,
Isn't it sad that sometimes people don't realize how nice they have it until suddenly they don't have it anymore!?!?!?! If only . . . . right????
Jean,
I know you Pacific Northwest folks are missing your rain. But let's not try to play catch up all at once!!!! I don't know if you would like living in FL!!! Your knees might!! But I'm not sure about the rest of you!!!!!
