My son left June 16 for boot camp.  Any moms from north Alabama here?

In one week from today, I will watch my baby swear in. I will then kiss him goodbye and hand him over to the Navy. I am so proud of him, but I feel like I am giving up my child to someone else. I know he will be in good hands. I guess I am just missing him already.

Thanks Navy brat/mom! I am taking in every single second. You aren't too far from me. We are just south of Oneonta. Hope your son is doing well in boot camp. Will keep him and you in my prayers. Praying that you get to hear from him soon!

Our son left March 12th and is scheduled to PIR May 8th. We are in Cullman County. Enjoy every minute you have with him. It will pass before your eyes.

My son flies out for boot camp on April 21st. We are from just north of Birmingham. Anyone else have a baby leaving on the 21st?

Hi everyone. I'm a recent transplant to AlaBama from Illinois. I moved down here on 8/3. My Sailor graduated from RTC on 8/1. He has finished A school and is now stationed at Jacksonville, FL. He is currently on his way overseas to meet up with his squadron. I'm so glad to see that thereally is a group hereally in Alabama.

Hi everyone!  I am the proud mom of a sailor and I have recently become involved with Molly's adopt a sailor.   I am based out of Jasper and was wondering if there are any other moms in Alabama that would be interested in joining us?

Thanks,

Carol
