Also, do NOT post last names. See the Community Guidelines and  OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) for more on that and more.

Ladies, Please remember PERSEC and do not ask for or share email addresses openly. If you need that info, then ask in a PM after friending the member. PM's within the site work well without sharing personal email addresses. Keep PERSEC in mind as well as OPSEC when posting.

Comments can be deleted by clicking on the x next to them if you realize that you have shared info that should not be posted.

N4M is NOT a private site and much of the info is visible to ANYONE with access to the web, including the info and posts within this group, so be very careful with the info you choose to share about your Sailor and yourself.

Hello Flyrasmom! I miss my daughter very much also, haven't heard from her since they were in Guam. I bet my daughter does know your daughter. Are you on Instagram?

Hey Virgo and Classy!!

I miss my daughter something terrible. I haven't heard from her for about a week, her sister spoke to her on Wed I think. Her twin emailed her and hasn't heard back yet, so I'm sure there's no service near her cause she would've gotten back to home immediately.

Virgo, I think she said she might know your daughter. My daughters undesognated, and apparently spends most of her days chipping paint and repainting the ship! Is this your daughters first time out also?

Classycalicat: Hello, I sent you an email just wanted to make sure you received it. Have you heard from your Son? Been over a week since I've heard from my daughter :(

Hi Cathy! Sorry I haven't had a chance to write, but I been meaning to tell you that yes, I do know your Son. I have spoken to him when I've been able to FaceTime with my sailor. They work together and are very close. Your son has actually given me some very good advice on my younger kids sibling fights. Lol such a nice boy too :) I did have a chance to FaceTime with her while they stopped at Guam. Tomorrow is actually her birthday and the first one she's not home for. I miss her so much and tomorrow for sure will be a tough day for me. I would like to email and exchange numbers if that ok. My name is Anna and I'm in California

Brandi,

I know what you mean, it's like we are in this as a team of Mom's!

Casey's US phone is also on military hold.

He bought a Japanese phone from which he Facebook messages me.

Also there is an APP called KIKK. He called me on it this morning. It uses Wi-Fi. And we can send pictures from it as well.

The problem with the Japanese phone is that for some reason I cannot call it. [Maybe that's a way to keep a helicopter Mom like me from calling & saying Hey all the time! LOL]

Hi Cathy!
I'm Brandi and yes I did get a call last night, and she tried to call this morning but I was at work. I did sneak out and FB message with her for a bit but I guess she was on someone else's phone. She did say she knows ewe your son. I have no idea why it makes me feel so much more connected and a little more at ease. Any advice on the best way for her to have a phone when they are still sea? She got a Japanese phone, but apparently that doesn't work, so she borrowed someone's to call. Her phone here's on military hold, and I really don't want to turn it back on for that one day a month that she's able to use it.
