Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 247 and 248

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Good morning! Would love to here from other moms in this division! Has anyone got a personal letter yet?? I'm patiently waiting!

Morning.  I haven't yet. Last Saturday my son said he would be writing soon. I believe they get time after church on Sunday to write.  So taking that into account... write Sunday...mail on Monday- Chicago to California ...3-5 day transit...oh oh looking at the 4th and no delivery... Not that I am keeping track or anything!  HAH! Hope you get a letter soon!.

i hope you get one soon....you should be!! took 2 days and we live about 3 hrs. from them! it was quite the surprise to see the letter in the mailbox this afternoon!

I received a letter from my daughter today.  I still have not received the letter regarding graduation.  I know that I am on the list because my daughters fiance received his letter and it has my name on it.

She mentioned in the letter that there are 83 females in this division and it has been quite a challenge.  They are working 18-20 hour days.

Toni, I believe they only send one form letter about graduation. It sounds like it went to your daughters fiancé. Have him share the letter with you because it does have information on it you will need to know. Happy 4th of July!

Thank you!  I have been checking the mail everyday.  I am trying to book my flight out there from Colorado.  I cant believe how much the price changes daily.

Toni-good luck on booking a flight! Would it be cheaper to drive? We are fortunate to live about 3 hrs. from Chicago. Have a great weekend!
