Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 327 and 328

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Thank you Ellen for everything you do for us!!!! I appreciate you very much!!!

You're welcome!!

Thanks Ellen for breaking this down for us.  It will be nice to talk to moms in my SR DIV.

Hello ladies. My husband is in 327. We got our third letter today. They had PFA or pre physical assessment on Tuesday. Apparently the division hasn't been doing well so no phone call this weekend. Hope all of you are doing well dealing without your sailor. My boys are having a rough time. Also shot out to The moms or signifcant others of Osio, DeBoss, Ramirez, Elhan, contini, Winbush, Taffe and Taito. These are the other sailors my husband mentioned in his letter that he has become friends with.

I hate that they don't get to call this weekend.  I will pray and burn my blue candle for them.

Hey, I just heard on PIR 10/17 FB page that someone got a call 45min. ago from 327!!!  So stay close to your phones it might happen for us!!  Let's hope for the best.

Yeah apparently the phone call they lost was from tuesday if they did got on their physical but they didnt so didnt get the call but still got to call today. Got to talk to hubby for 30 minutes. Seriously put my mind at ease after the letter i got today

smlsailorwife14. YAY!!! Super excited for you!!!

I got to talk to my son for 30 mins!!!! His little brother talked to him for like 10 mins!!!! He sounded so much better!!! I got so much information out of him this time around. I may actually sleep a full night tonight!!! I may have answers now to your all questions lol!!!!
Hello. I am so thankful for this group, and can't thank the families out there enough who are helping each other keep their sanity through this transition. I received my first letter from my son this last Wednesday (he arrived at Great Lakes 8/19). He's doing ok. The first few nights were very tough on him, better after the first week. Still rough, but adapting. Thankfully he has met several bunkmates that encourage each other. One sings before they all go to sleep (hearing that made me want to go to boot camp....for a millisecond :)). Another provides words of wisdom for every life situation, and everyone loves him for it. My son also wrote that there are some in his division that don't know when to keep their mouths shut, so he expects to get in great shape from lots of physical training (lol). His letter was sad, but witty too, and he even educated his mama on some things. I now know what a peanut butter shot is :).

Again...so thankful for this group and am looking forward to getting to know more. Counting the days until October 17th.
Sheryll my son also told me they had ALOT of talkers but he said they haven't gotten yelled at as much the last 3 days. I guess that's a plus!!
Good to know. Yes...maybe the loud ones det the drill now :) Thank you for the update. I haven't heard from him since his last letter. I gather they were able to call this weekend?
