For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 355 and 356
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Good morning all. My name is Kathy and my grandson is on ship 11 Div 355, Looking forward to meeting and seeing others that have SR's in this Div. This is my 2nd time around as my son graduated boot camp last Oct.

Hi All!!
I am Sharon, married to Kevin and we have a Sailor son (2010) and a Marine son (2013), now our daughter is in boot camp!!
She is in Division 356 and one of the 'Medical Yeoman's. She is doing 'great' and 'loving it' thus far! This warms our hearts as we all worry how our children are doing. Loved receiving her 'first' letters on Wednesday.
I am looking forward to meeting others with children in our divisions. -

Hi all, my name is Lisa and my husband is Kevin. Our son Nick is in this group. Received his first letter Thursday and all is well. Hopefully will have a phone call this weekend.

Be ready ladies. I just got a call from my grandson. He sounded good and did say he didn't know when he would be able to call again. Today was a really good day as I also received a call from my Sailor son who is now stationed in San Diego. What a great weekend!

Hi everyone,
I received a very long letter from my son in DIV 356 today, and an answered questionaire. I guess a cold and pinkeye are going around, but spirits are high. My son mentioned guys from TX, NV, CA, KE, and NM. Not posting names for security. My son is from WA but grew up in NM. I was glad to see that our SRs are doing well and gearing up for Hell Week.

You have to like U. S. Navy Recruit Training Command Facebook page, make sure you get the notifications. Every Wedensday they will post 2 pictures. First one to comment on 6 differences wins. If you win, they will post a picture of your division
