OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi,

My son Cory is Ship 11, DIV 113. My computer has been down the last few weeks. Is there a Meet and Greet for this division, and if so where and what time? We are coming 3/4 from Sprinfield, IL and are staying at the Comfort Inn. Any info. would be appreciated. Thanks

HI, Rob's mom. I am Blake's mom. I am glad to meet another one in Ship11 DIV 113. Well 2 weeks and counting. I got another letter today he is very anxious to be done also. He has never been away from home so he is homesick, but he sounds better now. I am still a little tearful though. I have my hotel rooms reserved for 2days incase they get the weekend off. I hope all is well in NY. Take Care, Jodi
