OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I'm somewhat new to Navy 4 Moms and was wondering if there were any other Navy Moms from Loudon. My 18-year-old son is an ABH on the USS Ponce on the Mediterranean.

I've heard Southhaven, MS, is a nice place that is growing quite a bit.  It would like a southern suburb of Memphis except that there is a state line there.

I know, we lived in Mi most of my life, not looking forward to cold! He has a DEP meeting tonight and she said she may be able to send him sooner. Although I am not ready for him to leave, I don't think I will ever be!!
